Kitchen

The kitchen has everything a foodie needs: 12-cup food processor with a 4-cup nested work bowl for smaller jobs; Wolfgang Puck rapid food steamer with triple-tiered baskets; large electric frying pan; electric grill; panini press; Instant Pot; 1.7 litre electric kettle; 14-cup coffee maker with reusable filter; toaster; microwave; full set of pots and pans; sheet pans; pizza sheet; everyday dishes and a china set for 10; cutting boards; casserole dishes; blender; and hand mixer. There are also plenty of cookbooks to peruse for inspiration.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooktop, two wall ovens, a wine fridge and a dishwasher. Outside, enjoy grilling on the Napoleon gas barbecue with infrared side burner.

There is an air conditioning unit in the kitchen that cools the main floor.

Bedrooms

One room with a King bed, one with a Queen, and one with two Twin beds, as well as two foldaway beds for extra guests, will keep you snug at night.

We supply pillows and blankets, but during COVID-19, we ask that you bring your own sheets and pillowcases.

Outdoors

Blossom Hill is situated at the edge of our 3 acres of forest. Close by are a heart-shaped pond and a fire pit with an adjacent woodshed stocked for your enjoyment. Enjoy a hike in our forest, where we harvest sap to create iconic Canadian maple syrup.

The area boasts Ontario’s densest deer population and teems with other wildlife. Dozens of beautiful birds flit among the trees.

By the Lake

Lake Restoule is a fisher’s paradise. It was featured on the “Muskie Hunter” TV show. Our dock is at the opening of a channel between two lakes, a veritable highway for fish. You don’t even need a boat to catch something awesome! You’ll find muskie, pike, pickerel and bass.

If fishing’s not your thing, paddle our canoe out in search of great blue herons, loons and other lake dwellers. Or you can relax in the sun with a cold beverage and let the day slide by.

Fun and Games

Blossom Hill has a cozy family room and a Games room featuring dart board, pinball, Pac Man cocktail table, kids multi-play (pool, basketball, ping pong, 9 games in one), In addition, we have a number of good old-fashioned board games. There is satellite TV and high-speed unlimited WiFi.

Winter

Winter is special in the Restoule area, when snow-capped trees preside over some of the best snowmobiling trails in the province. Local and trans-provincial trails offer hundreds of routes to enjoy. Keep your machines warm and dry in our garage. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are other great winter activities.
